Currently....February

It's time to link up with Farley for the February Currently! I can't believe January is over. This month flew by.

  • I am listening to House Hunters on tv. You can find my tv set to HGTV a lot of the time. I love watching what others do to decorate their houses. It inspires me, even though I rarely do anything about it.
  • I am still loving my UTSA Women's basketball, and I am excited that softball starts soon! I went to a meet and greet for the softball team yesterday. We are going to have a great season!
  • I'm thinking I need to break down and call my orthopedist about my shoulder. I am afraid I have a rotator cuff injury. Ugh.
  • I am wanting to get motivated and back on a healthy eating plan. I have let the holiday eating go on for waaaaay too long.
  • I am needing to get busy and start looking for flights to Vegas for the TpT conference in July! Everybody go tell Farley she needs to go with me and be my roomie!
  • Pageant Title: I was reminded earlier today (twice!) that I am too impatient. (But really, taking time when the light turned green to change drivers, making me miss the green light?!! Not cool!!) I guess I could be Miss Impatient. LOL
Now go check out all the other bloggers who linked up. Don't forget the rule of three!

My Favorite Things - Retired Teacher Version

I'm linking up with my friends at Teaching Trio for their Favorite Things linky! This is the NER (not educationally related) version. As a retired teacher, my favorite things now don't have much to do with a classroom.

1. I have some television programs I like to watch, and I don't have too many people to discuss them with now. I also believe you can't have enough snark in your life, so I enjoy going to Previously TV to read the recaps of my tv shows. Additionally, I like to visit the forums to interact with other snark-minded folks.

2. Amazon Prime. Free shipping in 2 days? Yes, please. I order so many things from Amazon and having Prime has paid for itself over and over. I don't order as many books and materials for my classroom any more, but I do get a thrill out of having supplies for my number three favorite thing delivered to my doorstep.

3. I love love love my Keurig. I am the only one who drinks coffee here, and since I did that retired teacher thing, I don't have the budget for coffee at FourBucks any more. With my Keurig, I can have flavored coffee at my fingertips in just a few minutes. I like to keep a variety of K Cups on hand (although Hazelnut and Golden French Toast are eternal favorites), so my toughest decision every day is which flavor to brew.

If you have a blog, go link up with Teaching Trio. Just click on the picture below to go to their linky. If you don't have a blog, leave me your favorites in the comments. I'd love to discover something new!
