Currently September

It is time to link up with Farley for her monthly Currently!

  • I am listening to Tiny House, Big Living. Am I the only one fascinated by the tiny house movement? I think if I were by myself, I could downsize quite easily. But no lofts (bad knees) and I'd need more than 200 square feet. Our house is almost 1600 square feet. That's a lot for two people and a dog.
  • I am loving that our local university is starting fall sports. We have season tickets for volleyball, women's basketball, and softball. We love to go support our young ladies' teams.
  • I'm thinking that I want to plan a trip. Maybe some beach time...
  • I am wanting to do some more decluttering. We had to have our washer repaired, so I cleaned out the combination pantry/laundry room. Now I have the fever. I think the linen closet is next on the list.
  • I am needing to get back on the exercise bike. I slacked off after Vegas. It's time to get with it again.
  • 3 Goals: I need to work on being more kind. Karma is going to get me if I don't. I need to focus more on my health. And I need to take care of some legal stuff. Since I got married in July, I need to update my will and all that goes with it.
Now go visit Farley's blog and check out the other posts this month! Don't forget the Rule of Three.

  1. Hi Suzanne! Congrats on your recent marriage! I've never heard of this show, but I absolutely love tv so I have to check it out now! I don't know if I could ever downsize that small, but I surely love the idea of it! I am always trying to declutter, but my goodness the struggle is real!
    Have a great school year!

  2. We are obsessed with the tiny homes shows! Did you see the one where they took the tiny home through New York City?!! That one was pretty cool. We lived in our garage apartment while we worked on the house...we would never make it in a tiny house! :) The Techie Playground

  3. I LOVE Tiny Homes and I follow several on Instagram. I think I need on because this apartment thing is for the birds, and we know JISD isn't handing out down payments. LOL. I think you patience and kindness with me over the years earns you a lifetime of good Kharma. Now the bike- I cannot help you with that. I hate those things.

  4. Hey Friend! Go on the trip! You deserve it! And take care of the legal stuff because it is important. I like a lot of stuff, and by stuff I mean books, around. So I am not sure about the tiny living. Could I do small living? It just sounds a little better. I am afraid I would not have room for all of my books in the tiny-living house :-) And I like the way you tell it like it is. Always!

  5. Hi Suzanne, I enjoyed reading your currently. I also need to declutter. We have our house for sale and I've been trying to weed out some of the stuff we do not use. A trip sounds like a great idea. It is always fun to have a vacation planned to look forward too. Enjoy the rest of your week.
